There are all kinds of ways you can act as a volunteer, including:
Walking dogs
Cleaning cages
Laundry & dishes
Taking photos & videos
Administrative work (data entry, filing etc.)
Helping with events & fundraising
Graphic design / video editing

(If you are under 18 you must have permission from a parent or guardian. If you are under 16 you must have a parent or guardian with you to volunteer.)
